CLOTHING FOR THE DECEASED
It is common to use a full set of clothing, including underwear, socks or stockings, and sometime even shoes if so desired. - Clothing the loved one normally wore when having "a night out" is generally acceptable and usually preferred by families. Sleeping ware has been used also. Consult with your funeral director about any other guide lines or special circumstances that may need to be addressed.
- Complete underwear (under garments), socks or stocking, and shoes if desired (slippers may also be desired instead of shoes)
- Wig or hair piece (may be returned to family after funeral service, consult with your funeral director)
- Jewelry - such as ear rings, necklaces, rings, lapel pins, etc. (may be returned to family after funeral service, consult with your funeral director)
